Tumbler - yet another IOS app to introduce 17+ rating - Magzium

With Apple store pulling down apps such as Vine and 500px for featuring adult content, Tumblr another IOS app has come up with an update. This version 3.2.4 released today lists “small bug fixes’. Users updating the app are prompted to confirm that they are 17 years or above. Tumblr has updated the App store page to 17+ rating.

Tumblr like other apps gives access to many blogs that have “Not Safe For Work” content. So it’s not clear if Tumblr has updated its app as a preventive measure or if it had it coming because of the customer complaints.
