Mega writes scripts to delete indexed files from its servers - Magzium

Mega-Search.me is a crowd-sourced search engine that allows users to search through files on Mega which otherwise couldn’t have been possible. Mega-Search.me has gained quite a lot of attention within just a week from its launch date. However wonderful this search sounds it poses a serious threat to Mega. If anything Kim DotCom has learnt from its previous endeavor how important ignorance of content on his servers is!!

So Mega has come up script that deleted all the files indexed by Mega-search rendering the search engine useless. Mega-Search.me’s developers seem to be intent on overcoming this problem as of now. It remains now to see how this team of developers fight back.

Currently the Mega-Search.me displays the following message, “Due to a script developed by Mega to delete all files indexed Mega-search, the engine is temporarily unavailable. A solution to overcome this problem will be made shortly”.
