Sounddrop - Discover and experience music on Fb through music rooms - Magzium
Started in 2011 as a small app Soundrop has come a long way since its inception. It’s the place for the nerds of music. Just yesterday it has launched an app for Facebook which lets users create their music rooms.
Soundrop’s listening rooms on Facebook lets artists and fans create social music spaces where they can listen to music together, chat, and vote on what they want to hear next. In all music rooms the app streams music from YouTube or Vevo at the top. Users can vote for the songs of their choice. Depending on the votes the order of playlist is decided. Comments, votes, and songs playing are synced to both the platforms Spotify and Facebook.
Soundrop on Fb is in its beta stage. The glaring omission in this Fb app is there is no allowance to create rooms. Untill this is fixed you may checkout your fellow user rooms and have fun.
In a press statement Soundrop’s CEO Inge Andre Sandvik, acknowledged Facebook as the world’s leading social network and said they were very excited to make it available on Fb. You can try the app here.
